I just installed vista and I cannot connect to the internet. The wireless
adapter is recognized and it states I have a strong connection. It will not allow me to access the internet however. When I boot to the drive that has XP still on it, the internet works fine. If anyone can Help I would appreciate it. |

If it means anything, I am having the same problem. If I use my old
fashioned wired router, I can connect...So any help would be much appreciated! Thanks, ---roystreet "Schmidt" wrote: I just installed vista and I cannot connect to the internet. I have the same problem. Have tried the settings for beta 2 but they will
not work Vista says my key is wrong when I know it is not. Other drive with Beta 2 works great although it did take a while to get it working. Hello Again,
I discovered how to make mine work. I always used AES WPA security on my wireless network. I was testing different settings & tried TKIP WPA instead of AES & it worked just fine after that. I can't remember off of the top of my head, but is TKIP less secure than AES? (Or less reccomended?) I would like to use the most secure method. I did discover the my network would work unsecured, but that's not acceptable. Thanks, -roystreet "Desert ratt" wrote: I have the same problem.
