Default RC2 5744 Cisco VPN 4.8.01.0410 BETA

Hi,

I can not get the VPN client to work with RC2 (did not manage with RC1
either actually). I get the logon dialogue box, but after that the status
bar keepis showing the "securing communnications channel" message for ever
and never finishing the connection.

Have anyone managed to get this to work and if so what are your config?

it works for me on RC2, in the sense that it successfully establishes a vpn
connection.
but then I have the same damn problem I am having since beta 2... a few
seconds/minutes after vpn connection is established and working, the whole
connectivity breaks down: unable to resolve hostnames, unable to communicate
with anything, not even the ordinary connection. disconnecting vpn makes the
ordinary connection work again, at least...
I still have been unable to find out what the problem is, and have been
hoping on each new vista build that this would get fixed... but no...
perhaps it’s a cisco problem
this sucks so much!

Default RC2 5744 Cisco VPN 4.8.01.0410 BETA

Hi,

With RC1 I got it to keep the connection for a lot longer if I set Outlook
to send/receive 1/min (kept the connection being used).

Take care,
Brent

my connection dies while I am using it, so there must be some other
problem...
what protocol does your vpn connection use? I think I have ipsec/udp...
weird weird weird... I also tried using the other ethernet connection (I
have an nVidia nforce 4 gbit LAN and a Marvell Yukon gbit LAN) but same
problem.
is there any newer vpn client than 4.8.0.1.0410 by now?
