Default Ripping CDs

I have been trying to rip the music from a CD with media player. The CD has
27 songs, I was able to get the 1st 11, but on each of the rest it says
ripping for about 10 - 15 minutes, then it says error and moves on to the
next song. There is no explanation as to what the error is. I have tried
rebooting and starting over with the unripped songs but they still will not
rip. Would this work better with media center?

Will the CD still play correctly?

I have not tried to play the entire CD. It was a new one.

Try it and see. It may be a problem with the CD itself and being new, you
should be able to take it back and get it replaced.

Default Ripping CDs

Vista Premium, WMP 11, mine does much the same thing, it will rip most of a
cd, then stall on the last songs. Sometimes it will not play a complete cd
but my car, home player and other computer will. Then once in awhile it will
rip a complete cd. I used to work fine for about one month when new. There
never seems to be a problem playing DVD movies. I'm wondering if its the cd
drive, or WMP 11
Any thoughts welcome, thanks

Today, the WMP 11 did rip 3 cd's without problems. So why sometimes, but
mostly it will not rip a complete cd. Its this hit and miss that makes me
wonder. Anyone any thoughts. Thanks
