Howard,

I used Task Scheduler to allow my Secunia PSI to run at startup since
Vista blocked the program from running. I correctly made the Secunia PSI
entry and rebooted. I received the dreaded BSOD. I was lucky and simply did
a hard shutdown and rebooted successfully.
I will continue to use Task Scheduler to schedule native Windows
application tasks will I will not use it for any third party applications
again. I simply don't trust it.
Sorry I don't have an answer. Maybe someone else can solve your
problem.

C.B.
