I am running Vista Pro. When I log onto YouTube and attempt to run a video,
the video runs but I get no audio. I have installed the latest Flash player version but sitll no luck. YouTube videos that are emailed to me play audio just fine. The YouTube Help video on YouTube's help site plays audio just fine as well. Any ideas? -- JMS |

Can you double check the volume slider on Youtube's player?
It sounds stupid, but just to get that out of the way. "Jo Ann S" wrote: I am running Vista Pro. When I log onto YouTube and attempt to run a video, the video runs but I get no audio. Yes - I've checked all the audio controls I can find and set them on high -
still no luck. I can't seem to find the main audio control program for vista to check that. I have gone to Control Panal and check Sounds but didn't find anything out of sorts there. -- JMS "WaruiKoohii" wrote: Can you double check the volume slider on Youtube's player? Any solution to this? I've got the same problem. Audio works fine in other apps, but online Youtube vids hav no sound. I had no idea it was a problem, but after a while you think Not every youtube clip is silent... I reinstalled my latest vista drivers (using windows server 2008 workstation cutdown) after I couldnt get the front panel speakers working, but audio is audio surely. Has to be a flash thing?? hellup !! -- wrecche |
