Hi,
What were you doing just prior to this happening? From Task Manager, you might try this: On the processes tab, locate explorer.exe. Select it and then click on 'end process'. Go to the applications tab, click "new task" and enter explorer.exe to restart the shell. Failing that, from the new task prompt, run services.msc. Locate the Desktop Session Manager and restart the service. -- Best of Luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Nutcase" - Microsoft MVP http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/ Windows help - www.rickrogers.org My thoughts http://rick-mvp.blogspot.com "Wordweaver" wrote in message ... Thank you very much. Resetting explorer seemed to correct the problem. If it
happens again, I'll try your 2nd suggestion also. "Rick Rogers" wrote: Hi, What were you doing just prior to this happening?
