Default MAC Registration

I have Vista Home, I am trying to connect via wireless to the wireless
network on campus and it sees the wireless networks available but, when I
register the MAC address and attempt to go through the procedure to release
and renew the IP in the command prompt the response I get is " The requested
operation requires elevation", even though I am logged in as the
administrator. Does anyone have an answer for this?

Right click on "CMD" and "Run As Administrator" ... that would then be
in an elevated command prompt ..
