HP Laserjet Director is now broken with Vista ?
Hi folks,
I have an HP3300 mfp that scans, prints and copies. It came with an app called HP Laserjet Director which orchestrated scanning, ocr, and picture editing. This app no longer works with Vista. HP is totally silent. Anyone here news on why this is ? Thanks -- Derek From Brooklin

Thanks -- Derek From Brooklin Have you looked at this page from HP? http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport...&lang=en&cc=us I don't see the HP Director software listed there, just drivers. This probably means that there is no version of HP Director for your machine that will work under Vista.

You have to go to start, then up to windows photo gallery, when that page opens at the top is file.. click on this. then on that list you'll see import from camera or scanner. Click on that. You'll then have a page open that will enable you to use your scanner, camera or more printer options. Hope this helps, Jeanie -- kcbizldy
