Hi
I have just recently purchased an Vaio Laptop (VGN-CR13G) and have been experiencing trouble the last month with connecting to wireless networks. When i turn on my laptop the wireless signal light turns on and stays on for about 5 minutes i can locate the wireless network and then once the light turns off automatically i lose the signal. About a month or so ago i installed Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security PRO 2008 on my laptop as the 90 day free trial of Norton that came with my computer finished. Would this be the cause of it? Should i re install the internet security or is it a setting on my computer |

I hope that you uninstalled Norton, after the free trial finished!

I'm having the same problem. In my case, the time is loger, about 30minutes or 1 hour after I start my laptop (TP T61). I'm not using Norton. -- cuocuo |

Hi
Check the Power Saving configuration of the Wireless Card. Choose advance in Power Option and look for the Wireless/Network Card. http://www.ezlan.net/vista/vista-power-saving3.jpg Jack (MS, MVP-Networking). "cuocuo" wrote in message ...
