WPA problems with "Atheros Wirless Networking Adapter"
i just installed Vista on my older Vaio laptop and one thing i'bve been
unable to do is connect to my WiFi LAN when WPA secuity is enabled (i had no such problems w\ this NIC under XP) i can connect just fine with Secuty disabled, and i haven't tried WEP b/c i recently learned it's been totally cracked and is pretty pointless. i'm wondering if this has to do with my wireless NIC -- i believe it is made by LAN Express... has anyone had similar issues? or isit just that WPA secuity is not yet activated in Vista? thanks in advance for taking the time to reply CMM.

well same problem here , i can only connect under unsecure mode.

please post here if you've made any breakthoyghs. right now i connect to the internet using a few other unsecurred wifi signals in the neigborhood (shady, it know!!) but since i dont have any personal stuff on my Vista laptop, some light webserfing and other poking around doesnt do much harm. CMM.
