Did you load all the s/w that came with the printer, very precisely and in
the order specified by the HP documentation? The s/w is very touchy about
this. If not, rip it all out and do it precisely as directed.

s/w is software and yes "that is the disk". It is not just the fact that it
is loaded, it must be done in the sequence described in the installation
instructors including plugging in all the cables and powering up the
printer. It is connected via USB, is it not? Your wireless is irrelevant.

Is printer sharing turned on in your desktop? What OS is in each? Vista in
both?

If you moved your printer, the remote computer may not find it. You will
have to delete the printer from that PC and re-install the printer (remote
network printing) from there.
