I just upgraded my home machine to Vista RC1. I was porting my applications
and one of my apps that uses a UDP socket to listen on a multicast port does not seem to work. I can see through Netmon and traffic is being sent on this multicast port but my client doesn't seem to capture this traffic. Is there any known issues with Vista RC1 and Datagram sockets? I read in some random post that a bug in Networking stack prevents user mode applications to open UDP sockets. Not sure how far this is true. |
