Hi, I'm new to Vista, just downloaded RC1 over the weekend.
I'm getting things set up, and one of those 'things' is a VPN to my work. With my XP laptop, I have no problem connecting (this is a personal laptop, not a "work" laptop). I set up a VPN connection in Vista with the same settings, and it fails to connect. it doesn't give an error code, it does ask about diagnosing the problem, but finds nothing. Is there some kind of compatibility issue with Vista? I read some comments about protocol 1.0 or 2.0, but can't figure out where I'm suppose to look for that. I need this VPN so I can access my work email server with outlook, as they only allow access from onnet. Can someone stear me in the right direction? |
