SMTP access problem
I am having a lot of trouble sending email (Vista Mail) through an SMTP
server - I continue to get an 0x800CCC OE error. It uses port 25 and I can't telnet to this server - I get a "connect failed" error. Am running Vista barebones, only the operating system is in the start-up list. Have tuned MTU to a point where packets don't fragment. Presumably port 25 is being blocked, but how do I find what is doing this and how do I fix it? :-) Any help would be most appreciated... Max
