Hello all,
I have recently installed Windows Vista RC1 on my IBM Thinkpad laptop, and have established an ad-hoc wireless networking connection between my laptop and my home PC. The network functions perfectly, except I must manually reconnect everytime I restart Windows, whereas in Windows XP it would connect to the preferred network automatically. Is there any way I can set Windows Vista to connect to the network automatically on startup? Thanks in advance, Michael. |

Open Network & Sharing centre, click View Status of connection, then select
Wireless Properties. Select "Connect Automatically when this network is in range". That should sort it out!
