Default Folder to show file size by default also for multimedia files?

How can I make folders show file size (in the details view) by default
also for audio and video listings. As it is now, it only shows name,
artist, album, genre etc (frankly, pretty un-interesting information
for me almost all of the time).

My sincerest thanks!

You'll need a 3rd party program to show the *folder* size in the explorer
window, or you can simply hover your mouse over a folder.

In a music folder, set the columns to your liking and then use:

Organize - Folder & Search Options - 'View' tab - 'Apply to Folders'
button to set your column preference for all folders using the Music
template.

I had the same (similarly annoying) problem, and was about to post a
follow-up question when I found the solution!
If you right-click the column title bar, you get a list of options, which
includes size. And there are a whole lot more options under the "more..."
list. You can remove those irritating artist/album etc columns.

Jon

My sincerest thanks!
