Vista RC1. My LAN (crossover cable ) is working I can see the other
computer(Win XP SP2) and share files. The Lan name is "Unidentified network" on local network. I can chance with customize in Network and sharing center the local network to Private profile but I can't rename the network to Home. Every time I reboot the local network is back to Public profile. Then I have to chance it to Private before I can share files, and again I can't chance the name of the network. I use dailup to connect to the internet. Can anybody help. Jan |
