i have a new good standard Notebook. i use Vista HPrem. I want to know if
anyone knows a reason why the -Hibrenation- would be Ignored (refuses to
enter) after setting it to Auto-Hibrenate after a set time.

I found that i had set up a -Blank screen saver- and forgot completely about
it. This made fixing display/hibernation/sleep a bit confusing and impossible
to understand. Now it works fine. *Always check the obvious first.
