Default Can't connect from notebook to PC

I recently installed vista on a PC, they have a wireless PCI card installed.
I have it connected to a D-link G604T.
My home network working fine (internet). When I connect from my notebook (XP
Pro, wireless) to my PC (VISTA RC2, wireless), it says the IP address is
invaild. Pinging not work. I was previously using XP (on a PC) and the
connection was fine.

When I connect from my PC (VISTA RC2, wireless) to my notebook (XP Pro,
wireless) it is ok.

Anyone had an idea of what is going on?

2. From Laptop to PC is _not_ ok.
3. Internet work fine in PC and in Laptop.
4. DHCP is off.

at times windows can be a pain in the ass when trying to network, so to take
the pain away i used Network magic version 4 and it works well with all
windows platforms from win 2000 onwards. it is ideal for wireless or
enthernet connections, you can share files connect to your computer in the
office/home from the internet, without any problem.
