Default Remote desktop from Vista Business to WindowsXP via Wireless not connecting

Here's my setup:
Vista Business (named CPE-Laptop) Dutch
Acer Travelmate 6592G laptop with Gigabit Lan and Wireless

Router/modem Speedtouch ST780 with Wireless. Wired connected to
internet over ADSL and internal network (4 ports)

Desktop WindowsXP Professional (English) wired connected to Speedtouch
router/modem. Named Rimsky

Confirmed working:
Vista to Desktop using wired connection over
Code:
--------------------
mstsc.exe /v:Rimsky
--------------------
Brings up connection box and connects after entering credentials.

Confirmed not working:
Vista to Desktop using wireless connection over
Code:
--------------------
mstsc.exe /v:Rimsky
--------------------
No connection box and after a time-out of appx 2 minutes a message like

Remote desktop session has been terminated,
possibly due to network problems.

I have googled, but can't find a solution. I have tried to set every
user experience as low as possible, especially bitmap caching, but to no
avail.

Using the same setup I can wireless connect to a wired W2K3 and W2K8
server.

Any insights/help/tips available?

Is it possible the Vista is multihomed computer? Posting the result of
ipconfig /all to confirm it.

Multihomed computer is the computer with two enabled NICs. In your case, you
do have a multihomed computer. The problem is the multihomed should not have
two default gateways. this link will give you ore details.
