Default NOVICE NEEDS HELP

Windows Vista Home Premium

It started when my dvd/cd rom started to play up,I looked and found it in
device manager
and noticed a storage controller also not working. I tried to update the
drivers but was unable. I tried to download anything but keep getting "The
directory name is not valid" and on others a reference to
i18nisolang.MSC.dll.My computer is only 6 mth old and was expensive TO
me,does anyone have some help out there,I would be eternaly grateful,thing
is,Im getting worried because I cant download at all and my security needs
re-newing.

Hi,

You may simply need to reseat the cabling in the drive tower. It may have
come loose.
