I'm running Vista (the full release version from MSDN) and I was hopeful that
the wireless networking issues I had had in the Beta versions would be resolved. However that's not the case. I'm attempting to connecting to a WPA-Enterprise network with AES or TKIP using PEAP and MS-CHAP. When I try to connect I get a red X next to the network stating that the settings saved on my computer for the network do not match the requirements of the network. I have configured everything correctly for the network settings and it technically should connect. Was there a change made in the TCPIP stack that would prevent me from associating with the network? So far I haven't even been able to reach the authentication stage. Thanks! Mandi |

Hello Mandi,
the whole TCP/IP stack was re-written, that does indeed qualify as a change, but not sure if it affects your issue... I'm not quite up to speed enough to be able to answer your specific question, but if I find the answer I'll post it up... Hey there! I had the same issue. What I did was, I went to the Control Panel Network and Sharing Center Manage Wireless Networks Remove the Network Add it up again / Reconnect. It fixes it! Hope this helps! Later, candy ![]() -- iamcandy |

Another possible solution is rebooting the computer.
