I am trying to find a solution that will auto log-off a user on Vista not
connect to a domain after inactivity. I know that winexit.scr worked on XP and I tried it on Vista but it gives me a Registry error on executing and setting the settings. Also, tried LogonExpert but that doesn't seem to have the option to logoff after inactivity - only logoff at specified time. Are there any other alternatives out there? Thanks in advance... |

Can't you just lock the desktop after inactivity?
i.e. in Screen Saver Settings, tick "On resume display logon screen". Nigel Steinberg MCP / MCTS Configuring WindowsVista "wilkc" wrote in message ... You can try using 'ScreenPass' (http://screenpass.net) ScreenPass automatically Logout idle workstations after administrator defined idle period has exceeded. Works under XP and Vista. -- antonseidler ------------------------------------------------------------------------ antonseidler's Profile: http://forums.techarena.in/members/110844.htm View this thread: http://forums.techarena.in/vista-adm...ion/930342.htm http://forums.techarena.in |
