Default Enable Advanced Performance for the Hard Drive


hello all
after clicking on "Policies" and makeing sure the dot is in
"Optimize for Performance", i put the check mark in "Enable write
caching on
the disk", and "Enable advanced performance" i click OK.
but when i go back in again the check marks are removed?
anyone no how i can fix this. i have 3 w/d harddrives 2 are raid

This problem persists in windows 2003 server also
even after enabling the advance performance option and clicking ok
the option is automatically getting disabled ..
i dont find any fix in internet so far..
probalby registry setting might help in case of both vista and 2k3
server
