Default Visioneer drivers

Does anyone know if MS has included any visioneer scanner drivers with
Vista. I know there are none on the Visioneer website.

Thanks.

Default Visioneer drivers

I tried everything I could think of to get my strobe XP 100 to work but
Paperport just seems to cause problems. I tried with Beta 2 and Pre RC1
but havent tried with RC1.

I planned doing that tomorrow. I'm not holding my breath. I think I'll
try drivers for a different model if the XP drivers dont work. I'm very
interested in which model you have and what you have tried so that I
dont waste time on something that doesnt work. Did you try in
compatibility mode? Did you try restarting the computer after install?

When I was looking for drivers for my XP scanner I dont remember seeing
any for Visioneer.

So far, I haven't tried at all. I have version 7 of Paperport, not the
latest version, so sometimes it is even a struggle in XP to get everything
working. I have the Visioneer 8700 scanner, which is listed as archived, or
something to that effect, so I doubt Visioneer will publish any drivers. I
was hoping that MS had some kind of generic driver that might work with it.
Otherwise I'll try the 8700 driver and see what happens. I'll let you know
of any successes.
