I'm on a Windows Vista computer right now using a wireless internet
connection. The wireless network set up right now is on my alternate computer, which is a windows XP. I have a Playstation 3 which is also wireless, and is able to play media files shared on my Vista computer. Lately, I wanted to switch my Vista computer to a wired connection, while still being connected to the for my PS3. I asked a fellow friend of mine and he said that I needed another IP adress? Can anyone help me resolve my problem? I just got a second modem and plugging it with the correct software won't work. Thanks in advance. |

Assuming the Playstation 3 still uses wireless, you may setup Vista wireless
connect to the wireless and wired to wherever you want to. -- Bob Lin, MS-MVP, MCSE & CNE Networking, Internet, Routing, VPN Troubleshooting on http://www.ChicagoTech.net How to Setup Windows, Network, VPN & Remote Access on http://www.HowToNetworking.com "Tetsu" wrote in message ...
