When I try to add a network printer connected to a Windows XP Home machine,
I get access denied. Anyone able to overcome this? I'm using 5600 over a Wireless network and a Linksys WRT54G router. |

Did you make sure that the Username(s) and passwords are matching between
both computers? I only had that problem when the user and admin accounts are not the same and have no passwords set on them. "BigK" wrote in message ... Also make sure you have the printer shared on the XP machine. I have the
same setup over a wired network. Make sure your network names are the same on both machines. The default network name changed on more recent versions of Vista from WORKGROUP to NETWORK. You can change either machine Network properties to match. "BigK" wrote in message ... When I try to add a network printer connected to a Windows XP Home machine, I get access denied.
