Default Slow internet access

Unable to access large websites like Microsoft, Java etc but have no
difficulty with smaller websites, when using wireless network. Access is
normal when using wired ADSL connection (up/down speeds OK for all traffic).
Internal tests show hardware and software to be correct on both network and
wired configurations, with signal strength described as 'Excellent'.
This problem has only occurred after installing Vista.
Might the problem be port conflict? Or something else?
Any advices greatly appreciated!!

You could try unbinding TCP/IPv6 by right-clicking Network
ConectionPropertiesUntick itreboot

It causes probs for some people.
