Default desktop and aol

Hi, I have windows vista and when there has been an update they restart my
computer, when they do that and my desktop comes back up everything is
shrunk. My picture and icons are much smaller and the same with my aol. Can
I use system restore without loosing the new updates, and if not what do I do
to restore everything back to the way it was. Can you please help me, this
is maddening. Thank you.

Hi,

Sounds like a resolution issue. Right click the desktop and choose
personalize. Click on Display Settings, then adjust the resolution.
