The OS is Windows Server 2008 which is set as a worksatation.
It once was briefly working but quits working. There is no problem connecting to internet websites but I can not connect to any local PC. The loacal PCs are shown under Network but I can not have the shared files displayed. Pinging from this PC to other PC results in 25% packet loss. From other PC to this PC 100% packet loss happens, another word this PC can not be seen at all from any other PC. Network Discovery is on. File Sharing is on. Network is set as Private network. Firewall(OS built in) is turned on as Recommended. Diagonostic result says "Windows found a problem that cannot be repaired automatically. ..." I reviewed the help file but could not find solution. Any suggestion is appreciated. |

It healed itself. I wrote the post, left the PC for about 40 minutes
without doing anything, back to the PC and tried to see the shared files, then voila, there is no longer file shaing problem. churin wrote: The OS is Windows Server 2008 which is set as a worksatation.
