This was originally posted in the XP forums: old age has its disadvantages!
The connections settings in IE 7.6, in Vista Ultimate, do not "stick." I am using a proprietary dialer and and another browser, and I do not want the windows native dialer to open. I have set the "never dial a connection" radio button on the connections tab, as well as telling IE to work off-line, but they both get reset after I use the proprietary dialer. If I am disconnected, and have left any browser window open, the native dialer window opens. This is a real annoyance, and I would appreciate any advice on how to stop it. |
