Vista Business
This is a new issue and I'm not even sure that this is the proper group for it, but since the issue is with nework shares, I figured this is my best bet. - Users on a specific Vista computer, cannot rename files/folders or move files/folders on network files. Same users on other computers (both Vista and XP) can access same network shares and perform renames/moves with no problem, so this is definitely a local issue. - At the same time, the synch has stopped working on that computer (automatic sync of desktop and My Documents through a group policy), and I cannot find anywhere I can see why or change. No joy from Synch Center: No errors are given, just no synch. - Another symptom which may or may not be related - cannot save files from the internet (even to local drives). Again, this is a local access as same user, same files from a different computer can save. All these symptoms suddenly occurred a couple of weeks ago, and before that all was working just fine. I have no idea where to begin to look in order to fix. Thanks, Ofra |
