Good morning All. I have a question about MS Fax Services on Win2K3 and compatibility with SpartaCom modem pooling software... Seems like the SpartaCom drivers are not "visible" to the Fax Services configuration... I am able to take a 3rd-Party fax client, install it on the Win2K3 server, am able to configure the SpartaCom modem port and complete a successful fax... ...is there a fix/update for MS Fax Services for said compatibility? I found the following information: http://www.spartacom.com/supphome.ns...007e809b/423ea b3480f962c607256d360081dbfa?OpenDocument I did contact the vendor, who pointed me to this site and have installed their most recent drivers... for MPNT Servers...Contact SpartaCom Technical Support for upgrade information to server Version 4.10a72. still did not help... Seems to be something on the MS Fax Services side, as Win2K3 does install the modem drivers and I am able to install a generic fax client, which sees the virtual modem, can configure it and complete a successful fax.... MS Fax Services does not allow me to do this... I tried this site, but to no avail... http://www.zdnetasia.com/insight/net...39168255-39000 223c The modem works on Windows 2003 and can be configured with anything else, EXCEPT MS Fax Services... The issue is MS Fax Services... I even tried this site, but no mention of SpartaCom incompatibilities.... http://support.microsoft.com/default...b/320892/en-us |
