Gee85,
You might try the "Help and Support" feature in the Start window for networking. I think you will find it pretty rich in the Home Networking. You have some options to think about. Then, please come back and ask some specific questions, if you have them. -- Regards, BobF. You need a router, or a "crossover" cable to network them.
You don't say what you have done so far! -- Mick Murphy - Qld - Australia "Gee85" wrote: i'm trying to network my laptop with my desktop via my modem. i cant seem to get it right. only thing i did so far was to access the public folder. i want to be able to map the C drives onto both machines. help... anyone? what do i need to do. -- Gee85 |

I guess this could be done, but it is not a good security idea to share an entire C drive. It is a very good thing that Vista does not allow this by default. |
