Default vpn

i have this problem which im stuck on...

i had vpn setup and was working fine but as soon as i plug myself into
another network (coffee shop or work) my vpn settings are gone.

I tried to recreate it by adding new connection again but it fails and
doesnt create any vpn icons anywhere. so my vpn is still no where to be
seen...new and old settings..

has anyone encountered this? any help is greatly appreciated....as i have
been boggled on this for a while and i cant find a work around it...

Default vpn

It could be a 3rd party software. For troubleshooting, try to start the
Vista with clean boot. Also any errors in the event viewer? Please post back
with the result.
