Run CMD prompt as admin issue
The RunAs administrator will not elevate the command. You have to elevate
the entire Command prompt to get it to run in the context of administrator. John Microsoft Windows Beta Team "Jimmy Brush" wrote in message ... Certainly seems to be an omission, since it requires you go back to the mouse simply to run a single command every time you want to do anything admin related (the alternative being to run the cmd.exe elevated which defeats the point of UAC). I expected a start /administrator command or something like that. Tony |
