I installed SP1 on my Business Edition Vista last night.
What I had pre SP1 was when I go to Control Panel and change the view to Medium Icons, it changes the view to every other folder I open also to Medium Icons. In order to show the view in Details format as I want in some folders, I have to change Control Panel to do that. Visiting Control Panel at all actually meant that any Details format view would show ONLY the file name and nothing else. I can manually add the other things back that I want and they stay there until the next time I go to Control Panel where they would all disappear in every other folder yet again. So that was what I had pre SP1. What do I have now WITH SP1? Exactly the same thing. Was there ANY attempt to fix this problem at all by Microsoft? |
