Default UAC configuration ?

I believe I saw a link to some documentation about configuring UAC but I can
no longer find it. Could someone point me to some documentation that will
allow me to configure UAC and remove some of the frustration before I turn it
off for good? Thanks for any help.

Jimmy Brush has some good information about UAC on his website, as a place
to start with understanding UAC.

Whenever I install Vista, I start by turning UAC off, installing any
additional software and set my preferences. I then make a new user called
"Elevated User" with a password. Then I downgrade my main account to a
standard user. Finally, I turn UAC back on. I rarely see a UAC prompt with
everyday use.

Thanks for the tip. I'll look into it. I was barely coping with the prompts
when I was blocked from deleting files in the Windows.old directory when I
needed to free up disk space. It put me over the edge.
