I recently puchased a laptop with Vista Ultimate and upgraded my desktop to
Vista Home premium. I noticed that the aquarium screensaver is not available as an option in Ultimate, but is available in Home Premium. Can anybody tell me how I can enable the aquarium screensaver in Ultimate? Thanks. |

Home Premium is a downgrade from Ultimate. There's no such screensaver in my
retail Home Premium. Was your original Vista preinstalled on an OEM computer? I suspect the aquarium screensaver was something that the computer manufacturer might have added to the software bundle. HP always added little extras like that to their systems but you wouldn't get them with the plain-vanilla retail OS versions. "Hopmere" wrote in message ... Hi,
The aquarium screensaver was provided by the desktop manufacturer, it is not one of the standard Vista offerings (any version). -- Best of Luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Nutcase" - Microsoft MVP http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/ Windows help - www.rickrogers.org My thoughts http://rick-mvp.blogspot.com "Hopmere" wrote in message ... The OP may be talking about wpgldfsh.scr, which I believe was included with
the Windows Digital Media Enhancements... I had it on my XP MCE, along with davinci.scr mypixdx.scr nature.scr space.scr they work fine on Vista. -- Vista Home Premium 32 SP1 http://get.live.com/wlmail/overview "Rick Rogers" wrote in message ... The screensaver was on the upgrade disk from HP/Microsoft for my desktop, but
the Sony laptop with the OEM Vista Ultimate OS does not have it. Does that make sense? Hi,
Sure it does, you upgraded with a manufacturer supplied disk. They (HP and others) often add software to thier versions. -- Best of Luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Nutcase" - Microsoft MVP http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/ Windows help - www.rickrogers.org My thoughts http://rick-mvp.blogspot.com "Hopmere" wrote in message ... It's typical for HP in particular to include some of the extra software that
you would normally only get by buying MS Plus!. As I recall HP included the salt water aquarium screen saver on my Windows ME PC and the goldfish aquarium with my XP Media Center Edition PC. Both of those screensavers happen to be 3rd party products that you can buy individually. Current version and downloadable demo he http://www.serenescreen.com/product/...p?ref=prolific MS had 'light' versions of the same screensavers included in some editions of MS Plus!. The full commercial versions give you more options. "Rick Rogers" wrote in message ... Hi, Sure it does, you upgraded with a manufacturer supplied disk.
