What firewall, anti-virus application or security suite is installed? There are some that cause problems which do not appear immediately. "Salvador" wrote in message ... hi again, apparently the problem is the Norton antivirus, I replaced it with
Panda and deleted most of the files from Norton but there are still some that I can`t delete. Any ideas how I could do it? Now try to delete. If successful that's the end of it. If not you might have to enable the real built-in administrator to do the job. Fot that , go to Vista Tutorials, choose Account. Shawn aka Brink has an excellent tutorial to show you how. Please reply again afterwards. Thank you. -- davidjchuang |

I have heard that Norton does not like to be uninstalled. However, there is
a utility at Symantec that will eradicate the culprit. -- ---------- Madness takes its toll. Please have exact change. ---------- "davidjchuang" wrote in message ...
