I am having a problem with trying to connect to a shared printer. I just got
a laptop with Vista and am trying to connect to a shared printer on my other computer running Windows XP (over a wireless network). I am able to see all the computers that are connected to my network but not my printer. When I try and connect to any shared folders on my other 2 computers on my network I get a pop up that says "Windows cannot access \\family (my other computer name on the network) the error also says "Check the spelling of the name. Otherwise, there might be a proble with your network. To try to idenfify and resolve network problem, click Diagnose" The thing is I can see the other computers - but can't access them. Does anyone have any suggestions. Thanks ahead of time |
