Vista RC1 Adding onto Domaim problem
Hi, I have attempted an upgrade from XP SP2 to RC1 Vista, this worked ok,
except i was not connected to the domain any longer. I could not add it onto the domain as the error says "Network path does not exist" although it does resolve the computer account on the domain and also the user name. I have since reinstalled Vista RC1 fresh build, this also has the same error, can someone let me know if Server 2003 requires any additional components to accept connections from Vista Thanks |

Did you check for any System Errors ? What are the system errors you get ?
Can you ping your domain by its name ? Is NetBIOS over TCP/IP enabled ? abc. Vista RC1 Adding onto Domaim problem
I have checked the event log and the only one that relates to this issue is
"The winlogon notification subscriber UmRdpService was unavailable to handle a notification event" This is on the Vista client, nothing on the server. I can see that it is trying to authenticate as it says that it has found the account for this client, then it times out. "abckid" wrote: Did you check for any System Errors ?
