New HTTPS Error Since SP1
Forwarded to Vista Security for great exposure.
How to uninstall Windows Vista SP1 as a troubleshooting step: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/948537 -- ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-IE, Mail, Security, Windows Desktop Experience - since 2002 AumHa VSOP & Admin http://aumha.net DTS-L http://dts-l.net/ John wrote: Vista Business with SP1 installed without incident. However in Event Viewer I'm getting this HTTPEvent error message (IE7) that was not present pre-SP1: "Unable to initialize the security package Kerberos for server side authentication. The data field contains the error number." The MS resolution is reinstall the OS. I hope this is not a real problem or one with an easier solution. |
