One way might be to stop this is to go to start -then type msconfig. Uncheck
qtime from loading up into windows at the startup tab.

i've just had a new computer with windows vista home premium and it was
working fine with all the window switching, aero stuff then i installed my
camera software with quicktime and it has said that the program qttask.exe
has performed an action that requires windows to temporarily change my

I know how to change it back to windows aero (32bit color, 60hz monitor
refresh rate, windows vista theme, windows aero color scheme and enable
transparency) but when i go to change the color scheme to windows aero it
won't stay and reverts back to windows vista basic so i can't then choose

enable transparency.

i've tried uninstalling quicktime but it won't allow that either as it
says
that a program or control panel which uses quicktime is running.

i've got all the minimum requirements and hardware requirements because it
was working fine.

i would really love for it to work again properly!
any suggestions...please!
