pavillion dv 6000 with windows vista home premium pre-installed. In spite of
several attemps, program do not run well on my computer, system shut down or
program stop of working. I am contacting muvee and HP support without any
success up to now. The software is the best among all similars, but is a pity
because it doesnt work right on my computer , all suggestions will be

In most cases where people have trouble getting to work on their
specific PC, the problem is resolved with the following (in order of
severity of the fix):

1) Update Windows, with all the latest fixes and drivers for your
system.
2) Update Quicktime and Flash.
3) Be sure your photo and video files are in industry standard format.
4) If you're installing from the CD version of muvee autoProducer 6
(aP6), uninstall that version and then download and install the trial
version from www.muvee.com. If that works and the installation from
the CD does not, you can contact muvee support for a product key to
activate the trial version and make it the full version.
5) Contact muvee support to get their clean uninstall program and then
use it to uninstall all versions of muvee on your system before
rebooting and then trying to install again.
6) Uninstall those other video programs that you won't need after you
have muvee. Sometimes they cause the conflicts by hooking and
hogging.

Best wishes,

I've sent three support tickets to muvee and no response. Very
disappointed because it's a great piece of editing software. I paid for
and downloaded the full version of muvee autoproducer6 on XP and when
clicking on help, it says the file is not available. I've uninstalled
it, reinstalled and still the same problem. Plus, I'm using an audio
track that's 3 minutes long and when I add photos to turn it into a
video, it cuts off at 1 1/2 minutes and loops back to the front of the
audio. I can't get it to go the full 3 minutes of the audio track.

I'm frustrated. I can't even get the clean uninstall application from
them. They will not respond. Can anyone help me?

I'm having the same exact problem. The thing is, my version of Muvee Auto
Producer 6 worked just fine until I downloaded the newest Windows updates on
5/28/08. Now it just stops working whenever I try to build a preview when it
gets to the "Loading Media Files" part.

I uninstalled the updates (except the ones for Defender which you can't
uninstall) and it still doesn't work. I've uninstalled almost every program
on my computer and it STILL doesn't work. I tried their MuveeNow program and
it does the same exact thing at the same time.

I've sent three support tickets to Muvee with no response, I guess they just
don't care once they have your money. I use this program for my business and
now I'm dead in the water. Anyone who can figure this out (and so far no one
can) will get a part in my next movie if they want it. I'm that desperate.
