It may be bad programming on the gadget. There are several wireless status
gadgets available. You might try another one and see if that gives the results you want. -- Dustin Harper http://www.vistarip.com | Vista Resource & Information Page "David" wrote in message ... Thanks There are many gadgets that do about the same thing. Click on add new gadgets, and find another wireless meter from a different author. -- .Joe _[image: http://uswave.net/vistax64/joetmvx64.png] (\"http://www.vistax64.com/index.php?referrerid=17621\")_ _*::Click_here_for_the_Vista_Forums::* (\"http://www.vistax64.com/index.php?referrerid=17621\")_ _Geekbench_Sco_4050 (\"http://browse.geekbench.ca/geekbench2/view/42901\")_ _CPU-Z_Verified (\"http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=323179\")_ |

Sidebar Help
I am in the same boat. Recently noticed that my gadget that detects wireless
networks says "disconnected" when it is not. I make sure the IP address is correct and tried several versions with no luck. I recently installed Norton 2008 Anti-virus and not sure if this has something to do with it. Thanks! "David" wrote: My wireless meter in sidebar says not connected, any help on how to make it work.
