Cisco VPN and Vista
Hi,
I installed Cisco VPN Client 5.0010600 on my vista ultimate PC. No problem but when i try to maken contact with my work i get the error message: Secure VPN Connection terminated Locally bij the Client. Reason 418: Unable to configure the firewall software. Even disabling the windows firewall gives the same error. who can help me..??

Do you have 3rd party security? Uninstall Cisco VPN. Make sure the Windows
firewall enabled. Reinstall it. i followed your advise, i disabled Avast anti-virus, i disabled windows defender, i removed Cisco, i enabled the firewall, reinstalled Cisco en tried to make a connection.. no result... i got the same message if below ??? greetings Wil "Robert L. No errors in the event viewer and there was no cisco.log
