Default Error code 429

I was trying to open a program which had been working previously and am now
getting the follwing message. "Run time error 429, Active X component cant
create object". This problem occcured after talking to a help desk person in
the Phillipines , who a had me connected to her so she could see my system
and would be able to help. The program was installed several months ago and I
had no problems with it.
