SharedDocs and Public Folders Hang in Vista
Hi
I have Vista Home Premium installed on an ASUS M51S Series laptop. I have set up a wired network with 2 odesk tops both running XP Home. The Vista laptop can see the shared documents on all computers and can open shared documents on the XP computers. However the Vista laptop cannot open its own SharedDocs and Public Folders. The computer just hangs and I have to force a close of the explorer window containing the shared folders. I have password protection off and file and public sharing on. Any ideas?
