Can TPM chips support multiple PINs?
If so, can BitLocker support multiple PINs with the TPM to secure startup keys? For example, multiple users of a single system could each be assigned a separate PIN. (I know BitLocker can support multiple Startup Keys on USB) Thanks! |

Hi Tavis,
The TPM is not used to actually store any BitLocker information, so it can handle multiple PIN's. However, BitLocker (for this version) only supports one TPM authentication method per encrypted volume. Sadly this prevents multiple users of a single system being assigned seperate PIN's. -- Jamie Hunter [MS] "tavis" wrote in message ... Can TPM chips support multiple PINs?
